I was using aperture priority to get a base exposure for which I could extrapolate a longer exposure using a lower ISO and smaller aperture. My in-camera meter maxes out at 30 seconds. Since the light was so low, it wouldn't give me a 30 sec exposure until I bumped up the ISO to 800. I made a following exposure of 15 minutes at ISO 200! It lost all the mood and drama that this frame had. Hope that helps and makes some sense. Thanks for joining in!
