But I didn't have Photomatix and I wasn't pleased with the results of using Photoshop's "Merge to HDR". So I finally processed the image last night using Photomatix's latest sofware and I am very pleased with the results. What do you think? Comments welcome below.

Very nice HDR. It's amazing to me how much difference there is between Photomatix output and the final image. Can you describe the steps you took?
ReplyDeleteAmazing images in the last posts.
Thanks Bartek. I process the images pretty flat in Photomatix so that I have lots of information to work with in Photoshop. I'm actually planning a post going through, step by step, what I did in Photoshop and why. So hopefully I'll be able to get to that sooner than later.
ReplyDeleteI like! I have been experimenting with Photomatrix also. Sometimes there can be quite a difference in the look of the final image and what Photomatrix shows. It would be nice to see your step-by-step post.
ReplyDeleteCheers!
